@alexpopescu as @kav2001c mentioned, make sure you port your number out while your PM account is still active. If it goes to suspended, you won't be able to port the number out without reactivating your account on something like a 10-day, text-only plan.

You can port it out anytime before the end of your 90 day plan. Any remaining days will be forfiet and your account will be automatically closed, sim no longer usable even if you wanted to restart.
If you wait until your 90 days are done, you still have another 90 days of suspension before the account is deleted and you lose the number, but I believe you will need to implement a minimal plan to make it active before you can port (10 day text only should do).

@alexpopescu to be clear; make sure port is completed before the 90th day. If not your port request will fail.

No refunds on prepay
Just make sure you remove credit info if on autopay and line will cancel itself
