Recently tried to sign up but disappointed by lack of support. A request was made to port my number from another carrier. I want this cancelled as well as my new account.

I just updated the PM app and no issues.
Uninstall the PM app from your phone and reinstall. See if that works.

Additionally @KeithSparr , as stated on the other thread, if you successfully port your Public Mobile phone phone number to another mobile service provider, it will automatically terminate the Public Mobile account

try using the web-based browser to login
to close your account, go to your subscription page and toggle off the auto pay feature
You can also ask the customer support agents to terminate the service, but make sure if you’re porting your number out to another provider that you do that first
in fact, a successful porting to another provider automatically closes your Public Mobile account so it kills two birds with one stone.
To contact a Customer Support Agent, there are 2 methods:
Watch for their response in your Community private mailbox which will be indicated by a number on the small envelope icon to the left of your Community avatar.

How do I do this when the app dead links after I put in correct email

@KeithSparr did you reply to the message to confirm the port? If not, it should automatically not be approved. As for canceling the new public mobile account, that you would have to do if the port is completed. You can do so by using the chatbot to create a ticket. Or using this link.
Also, taking into consideration first message reply below.

@KeithSparr , if the port request is in progress, it's iffy to try and get it cancelled. I believe the sending carrier often issues a notification about a port being issued and offers support for unintentional transfers. Since you do not have access to refunds on this prepaid service you might be better off to let the port complete and transfer you service out of Public Mobile.
