Activated new phone number on new phone with public mobile

Hello 

How long does it take to activate a new PM line?

The process so far was:

1) Insert PM sim into brand new phone

2) Couldn't bypass set up of new Samsung account, which required a phone number, so logged into PM with a separate device to select a phone number

3) Confirmed phone number, but PM now asking for verification code... but the phone is still reading EMERGENCY CALLS ONLY

What do I do?

It shouldn't take an hour. Activations (and service) are supposed to start working immediately. If it takes an hour, something has gone wrong.

to setup Samsung phone without a working sim

• Go back to the first screen with the Start button

• Long press volume down button on the side until there is a message about the SIM bypass

• Continue the setup normally without SIM
