Canada-Wide Plans

How can I switch to a Canada wide plan? The options for plans are limited to only 2 Canada-Mexico-International plans  and I have no idea why as I was originally on a Canada wide plan.

Did you switch to a roaming plan for a specific trip, and now you want to switch back? What's your ultimate goal? Save money?

Can/US/Mex plans also work in Canada, so you get the best of both worlds (domestic and roaming). If your goal is simply to save money, you can only switch to the plans targeted in your own account. They change often, so keep an eye on the offers from time to time.

Canada-wide plans are not only just 4G plans.  There are also 5G plans that are Canada-wide.  As for looking for Canada-wide plans, just changing to 4G doesn't mean that there should be Canada-wide plans available. On my own account, I also only have Canada-US-Mexico plans available.

in the old days, we could switch plans up or down whenever we wanted to. Public Mobile put a stop to that. As you've found out, we can only downgrade to whatever plan we have in our own plan menues. Unless you're willing to give up your number and start a new account with a new sim, a different email address...we're kinda stuck with whatever is in our own plan menu. Some have suggested taking a plan just a bit cheaper than our current plan (if available)...then an even cheaper plan may be available....seems like alot of work doing it that way.

you can only change to plans offered on your My Account -> Change Subscription page, if the plan you want is not there, you cannot change to it

But you don't have to hesitate with Canada US Mexico plan.  Basically it is like the Canada wide plan and they throw in US and Mexico roaming for free

but if you are looking for those unlimited slow data Canada wide plan, again, if it is not on your change plan page, then no, they are not for you at the moment
