How does that work, switching over to T-Mobile or AT&T, is it automatic?

I have always left the phone to auto connect to cell network.  This setting has never let me down.  In the US, the phone does what it needs to do.  I see only one exception and that is for phones that don't play nice with VoLTE.  Connecting to T-Mobile on 2G is a necessity for phone calls.

HI @Zal_

supposed the phone would choose for you. But if one does not work well (or the phone can't even connect automatic), you can then change network connection from auto to manual and then select T-Mobile and AT&T and try both

@dholden6e , yes they do which is why the plans are labeled CAN-US.  It is a single plan, two countries.

HI @dholden6e  yes it does.  US roaming (voice/data/text) is included.  You just need to use T-Mobile or AT&T when you are in US
