I’m in the US and recently bought a iPhone 15 pro max. I’m trying to buy an eSIM through the app but it’s saying my phone is not eSIM compatible. Am I missing something? It’s a brand new iPhone and it’s already using an eSIM with AT&T.

HI @ktailor PM had some issue with iPhone on eSIM. Some iPhone users have to change back to physical sim. Have support agent to check for you (I understand you have no physical slot, but ask them to confirm first)
and also, make sure you have latest non-beta iOS
please submit a ticket with CS Agent using this Chatbot link: https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/publicmobile/publicmobile.html Type the question "Submit ticket", Then click the following in order: "Contact Us" , "Other", "Log In".

I did try that as well but when I try to buy the eSIM from the app I get an error saying “Your device is eSIM incompatible” which makes no sense since you can only use eSIM on the new US iPhones.

@ktailor You can't transfer an esim. You need to download the PM app on the new phone and then buy a new esim through your existing account.
@cellphoneuser1 It's happened to me too, on an iPad in landscape I can't always see the thread title.

I do it have it active on my old phone (iPhone 13 pro max) as an eSIM. I tried to just transfer it to the new one but it says transfer not supported.

My mistake. You're right. I read the post but didn't see that in the title.

Thanks for that info. I'm not sure that's the case. Ktailer didn't say if the phone was bought there or when it was bought except that it was recent. It could have been bought in Canada before going to to the US.

You might need to buy a physical SIM when you get back. That won't help for this trip, but it'll be set up for next ime.

@ktailor - Try putting in the IMEI of the device in the app, or even try your old phone to authenticate. It may give you an email of if the eSIM didn't activate. You can just scan the QR code in the email when you buy the eSIM. iPhones are always compatible with eSIM from PM, but I don't know what it is sparking at about the US mmWave eSIM only iPhone 15 pro max.
