I'm trying to port out my number to Virgin. Got a temporary phone number yesterday. Haven't received the authorization SMS yet. Can anyone help me?

If you didn’t disable the eSIM but are you keeping up with the monthly payment?
Did you reply to the text with YES confirming you are porting over to Virgin? This step needs to be done to complete the porting out.
Again, Virgin needs to contact PM to send out the text to you to confirm.

Thanks for the rapid response. I have never disabled my PM esim. The person who helped me to port over to Virgin told me that Virgin has accepted my request. It's PM not releasing my number.

You need to leave your PM SIM in the phone and your PM account active to get the text and confirm your are porting over to Virgin.
Good chance that it can be ported out but you need to talk to Virgin for assistance.
