Hi, I can’t download the app because of my region even though I’m currently in Ontario. I tried to follow the link and also searched for the app in my store but both didn’t work.
Is it because of my phone itself? Because it’s a “European iPhone” but all my region settings are set for Canada.

@LennyK Might have something to do with the website being down right now to , but you can try a friends phone to download the app to activate physical SIM card I wouldn’t try eSIM on app incase it installs onto their phone . But if you don’t have friends phone to use . Try the website in a hour if it’s working you can buy subscriptions there with eSIM and after you make payment contact support to help finish the activation . Would be another work around you can try

Is the location settings enabled for the App Store?
Another solution is to have a friend or family download the PM app on their phone and activate the SIM. Once activated, they can delete the app on their phone and you can manage your account online.
