Can't activate eSIM

Hello, I keep getting error message that I can't activate my esim on my pixel 6a and to Get support but there is no available chat agent available. Has been like this for hours please help me activate.

Contact customer support and request to escalate if the agent who responds can't help you.

To contact a Customer Support Agent, send a private message to them by clicking here.  You’ll need to be logged into your Community account for the link to work.

Watch for their response in your Community private mailbox which will be indicated by a number on the small envelope icon to the left of your Community avatar, or tap your Avatar down in Messages.

 

@Tinatwinings  You want to ask support to som card swap the number for you . So you can finish activating the new sim card you got kn the app

Hello, so I paid $34+tax and tried to do esim activation through the app which failed 4 days ago.

After being advised by CS agent to go and buy a regular sim card to complete the activation process, I went ahead and bought one but now when I'm pleading with them to activate the sim card, I am being asked a gazillion questions about account pins and numbers which were never given to me in the first place.

And also I see a random number has been put on my account that I need to use as sms verification to access my public mobile app and essentially locking me out if it.

So here I am with $34 and another _5 dollars plus tax and 4 days spent and still without phone service that I paid for.

Please advise what to do in my situation

Don't get your hopes up. All l got after messaging them was activation made to a random number so they can make a 'refund request' or I go buy a regular sim card so not much help.

Not sure why I should buy a regular sim even. All they should do now that the activation been pushed through and money withdrawn from me is to just email me the QR code so I can use the servicem my phone is esim compatible

Alright, thanks. How would I go go about transferring my account though when I don't know the phone numbers that's attached to my account?

it is quick and easy to get a Public Mobile sim card from local Telus or Koodo store: https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/pick-up-SIM (call ahead to confirm availability )

So after messaging, I was told to go and buy a regular sim card which I didn't want to do so I asked for a refund and was told it would take 10-15 business days longer which is longer than my trip in Canada.

Now, when trying to log in to the account I see it has been activated to some number as it keep asking me for SMS code to verify it when logging into the account which I don't have access to.

Not sure what to do at this point stuck without phone service and without money 😞

Finally have been able to get a message through with your link. Strongly hope I'll be able to have assistance, got the same problem and haven't been able to get help anywhere. First ray of light since a couple of days ! Thank you !

Hi, yes on the app. Have not recieved any welcome email with QR code unfortunately

@Tinatwinings  And your trying to activate on the APP ? Not website . Check your welcome email for the QR code on computer to scan it with phone . If still  no luck this link will get you to customer support to help
