HI @lyonsj2   Verizon phones generally will work here

Verizon uses bands 2, 4, 5, 13, 46, 48, 66 which match some of PM's bands.

Maybe your sim card ?  did you try it on another phone  to confirm if it was setup correctly?

Or open ticket with PM CS agent and have them to confirm the activation (I assume you just activated?)

at : https://publicmobile.ca/chatbot.

First type Contact,
then select the only choice there: "Contact..",
from the list of , choose "Other"
finally click link the blue link about submit a ticket
Another page will open and just follow: .

After ticket is submitted, make sure to check your Community Inbox(top right corner envelope icon) periodically for response from PM

If you have problems submitting a ticket, you can open ticket by private message (but this can take longer):

Confirm your phone is compatible with PM frequencies

Public Mobile uses the following frequency bands:

4G LTE and LTE Advanced: 700 MHz, 850 MHz (band 5), 1900 MHz (band 2) and 2100 MHz downlink and 1700 MHz uplink (AWS).

3G/HSPA: 850 MHz, 1900 MHz (UMTS).

Try your SIM in another phone to confirm it is activated properly (or at all).

@lyonsj2 that is a chance your phone is not compatible here, what exact model is your phone?

But to be sure, put your PM sim card in another phone to test as well.  It could also be a sim card provisioning issue and not device

FYI, phones have to have these bands for it to work on PM network

@lyonsj2

Change network settings in your phone to automatic.

Then restart your phone.
