I just switched from Fido to public mobile yesterday. I do my why I can not receive any calls and texts?. Please help me !

If you're using a SIM card from Fido, you must keep that card in your phone to receive and type in 'YES' to allow the port to happen. This is Port Protection, which is meant to prevent people from stealing your number.
If you're using an eSIM, just leave that enabled - it will like disable itself once the port process begins after you've replied 'Yes'.
I wonder if you can simply start the port process again but this time keeping an eye out for the text message from Fido.

Did you get a text from Fido, did you reply YES?
and can you receive inbound phone calls, especially from Non-Telus/Koodo/PM phone? If you cannot the port was not done
