Did you recently port your old number over to PM?
If so, did you reply to the text with the old SIM in the phone confirming that you are porting your old number to PM?

dies it show any signal bar?
Try reboot phone first
Try reseating your sim card
Try to use your phone in another area
Try to use another phone with your PM sim
