Recently joined PM. Having trouble making phone calls. States “HB 1” , can not call the number .

Try adding 1 in front of the number. Also reset the Network setting and reboot your phone.

since you just you recently joined PM, were you ever able to make calls?
what phone do you have? Check if your phone is on PM's VoLTE whitelist:

and try Reboot phone and click Reset network settings
also check any local issue:
