Can my cell phone number be used in US?

Hi,

I am going to take a short trip to US.  I want to confirm whether my phone can be used in US?  My cell phone number starts with 672XXX-8666

You can receive real sms texts without a roaming add-on. Everything else needs the add-on.
Do you know if your phone has been enabled for volte here yet? If so then great. If not then you need to be able to change your phone down to 2G GSM for talk.

the phone itself, yes, you can use it

the service, you have to either buy US roaming add-on or you have to have a Canada-US plan to use the service in US

there are couple US roaming, a popular one would be Talk/Text/Data for 15 days for $30

@ufo_dj , you should have no problems using roaming in the US.  Please purchase the required US roaming add-on.  Note that add-on starts immediately upon purchase and last 15 days.

You will need to purchase a 15 days Roaming package if you don’t have the PM Canada/USA plan.

You will need to connect to the T-Mobile network down there for service.

You can also use WhatsApp or TextNow app for free WiFi calling and texting on WiFi.
