Can i buy 2 sim cards with same sim number and same phone number?
I want to be able to carry a small fip phone for work, but use my Smart phone elsewhere.
Same phone number, duplicate sim card, is it possible and legal?

In situations like this I wish google voice type of service exists in Canada. Google voice can forward a call to many other numbers, not sure if there is a limit.

As far as I know, all Candian providers do not allow 2 SIM cards to be activae for 1 number.
But you can get following me service like Fongo. You can get a free Fongo number and configure it to ring the two numbers that you want when someone call your Fongo number.

This question was asked just the other week by someone else.

No, that's not possible.
You might look into forwarding your numbers to the other so one phone rings if the other doesn't/can't answer.

@fonzy35 No, you cannot. Only one sim per one phone number and account.
