Hi there, I still have 1 month contract with Bell, can I activate a phone line with temporary number and port in 1 month later?

history, with Public Mobile, has taught me that if I see a plan that is desirable, I should grab it while I still can. In your case, you can get a PM sim, download the PM app to your cell and activate a new account taking a temp number...then port in your old number once your new account has stablized. There's some very decently priced plans right now and if you see one you like...jump while you still can. Just don't order a PM sim for PM...due to postal strike, it might take awhile to get it. Instead, I recommend sourcing one from Amazon.ca. If there's a Mobile Klinik in your area, they should have the PM sim available for sale too.

@Jackzhao , you can activate and port in a phone number any time you wish.  Having said that, black Friday deals were just released today.  I would think there is some time available to take advantage of these deals.  So, you could cut down on the overlap period by at least a week.  Black Friday is the end of the month.
