I upgraded to the new Can/US plan do I turn the roaming on?

Just leave data roaming on all the time, then it'll be seamless when you go back and forth between the US and Canada. There's never any extra charges in PM anyway.

Yes, you need Roaming enabled and connect to the T-Mobile network.
If you just switch to the new plan, reboot your phone by powering off then power on before turning on Roaming.
