Can- US-Mexico plan

I have a quick question regarding Can- US-Mexico plan,

can I make call and send text to Mexico from US? Also, the other way around? 

also, can I switch countries where i want to make international calls?

@Yea123 no I'm not. But unless these other posters have first hand experience, I'm not sure I'd be taking that as fact either. I recall much discussion about this when the Can/US/Mex plans launched, and I swear you were limited to calling Canada and the country you're in. I could be wrong though, so I'll just throw this out there as a cautionary note.

EDIT: I'm wrong. I'm in the US right now and tried calling a hotel in Cabo, and it worked. I stand corrected.

calling within the 3 countries is included, ie, you can call from US to Mexico and from Mexico to US as well

@computergeek541 I don't think that's accurate. I think it's like this:

Canada to Canada, US, and Mexico

Mexico to Mexico and Canada

US to US and Canada

I don't believe you can call the US from Mexico.

Sorry, but you'll need to use a different service to make these phone calls.  Public Mobile customers aren't able to direct dial calls to this calling destination.

Nope, you can’t switch countries. You can only call those in the list. What country do you wish to call… maybe we can make a suggestion for you.

For international minutes, can we switch countries where? I need to make call to a different country? Can we switch for all countries with one?

Yes:  Call, text messaging, and data casn be used in Canada, US, and Mexico to and from any of these three countries.

The limited amount of included long distance minutes include outgoing calls China (including Hong Kong),  India, Pakistan, the Philippines, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom.
