@Piazza86 - what model of phone do you have? Can you try the SIM card into another compatible phone to see if incoming and outgoing calls work?
How about data, does that work?
Confirm your My Account status shows Active.

@Piazza86 , did you submit a number transfer with the activation. That will definitely affect incoming calls, but outgoing should generally work fine. If your phone has a VoWiFi setting, make sure that it is not switched on.

@Piazza86 did it shows it connects to PM network? Any error like Sim not provisioned? No Network? No SIM?
You can text, but you could be using iMessage or RCS which was using your wifi
If you see it is not connecting to PM network. Try to reseat the sim card once again (or if you have dual sim slot, try your other sim slot)
If it still does not work, it likely a sim card provisioning issue, which is an easy fix on PM side. Just engage them via ticket:
1. Please open ticket via Chatbot (need access to My Account): At https://publicmobile.ca/chatbot.
Start by typing "Submit a ticket", then click "Contact Us", Then click "Other", then click "Click here to submit a ticket ↗"
2. If you have trouble with Chatbot or you don't have access to My Account: Private message CS Agent at:
https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437
**Monitor your Community inbox (envelope icon on the top right) after the ticket is opened. CS Agent will reply to you there
