It looks like there is a solution on the other thread.
Factory reset of the phone. Hassle though. Need to backup phone first.

To further troubleshoot, if possible, try another carrier's SIM card (ideally not a Telus, Koodo or PM card) in your LG phone. Let us know if calling works.

@Lacrossemom there is something up with that phone, it seems.
See here from today also:
Calls will likely work in another phone, give that a try.
EDIT:
Can you go through this advice and see if anything helps: https://thedroidguy.com/how-to-fix-an-lg-g7-thinq-smartphone-that-cannot-make-or-receive-phone-calls...

Hi @Lacrossemom ,
What trouble shooting have you tried?
Here is some to try:
*turn off your phone, leave off for a minutes, then reboot
*removing your SIM for a few minutes, then reinserting it
*go into airplane mode for a few minutes, then going back to regular mode
*reset network settings
*Check if your phone is blacklisted here: https://www.devicecheck.ca/check-status-device-canada/
Can you try your SIM into another compatible phone to see if call work?
What is the make/model of your phone?
