Just changed my plan to include 500 international minutes. Will I be able to call in Canada from US while in the US on vacation

You can call, text and use data in all 3 countries without any roaming charges.

yes, you are correct, you can call Canada from US without extra roaming addon with the Canada/US/Mexico plan
similarly, you can call Canada from Mexico for free

Plans says , Unlimited Canada ,Us and Mexico minutes and messaging plus unlimited text and picture messaging
Does this mean I call call Canada from Us with out having to purchase add ons ( roaming )

what plan do you have? International minutes are to be used to call from Canada to overseas.
But if your plan is Canada & US plan, it will include call Canada from US
