Hi, I have a voicemail, but when I try to access it the call connects, but then I can't hear anything. Completely silent. No prompts, or anything. One of the times I tried to listen to it I pushed a bunch of dialpad numbers and it started talking in a menu somehow, but I couldn't get back to lisen to my messages.

Any ideas?
Followup: rebooted my phone, called voicemail, prompts worked, but the voicemail was silent and broke the prompts when I tried to delete it. Called back in and it said there were no new messages.
Thinking a spammy voicemail somehow broke the system

@jonnypage any updates here?

Very odd, never heard of that before. @jonnypage have you been able to access your voicemail previously without issue? I would suggest you use another phone (landline maybe, or a friend's mobile that doesn't use Public Mobile) to dial your local access number (see @PJC's list) and follow the prompts to get into your voicemail that way. Does that resolve the issue? If so, it's a phone issue. If not, it's a voicemail issue. If it's a voicemail issue, please reach out to the moderators (details below) for assistance. If it's your phone, I'd suggest you try the OnePlus support community https://forums.oneplus.net/.

I use voice mail once in a blue moon, so I don't know all the functions but I assume there is a reset function. This may be a good way to clear out any bugs and start fresh. Otherwise, I would call on @srlawren, the OP5 guru to weigh in on any specifics related to the phone that may be a potential issue.

How are you dialing into voicemail? Are you holding dialkey "1"? If you are, have you tried dialing your own phone number? Or try another voicemail access number?
Here is the list to all Access numbers:
If the problem still persists, the only other way around this is to message a moderator for help 🙂
