Call forwarding from P.M. Canadian Plan to P.M. Canadia-US Plan.

My Girlfriend has the Canada Wide Public Mobile unlimted plan and I have the Canada-USA wide Public Mobile plan. Can she call forward her phone to my phone while in the USA? (I am thinking she can since we both have Canadian numbers) Is there a cost for call forwarding?

Thanks!

I think I may have worded it wrong. (My BAD) If she call forwards her number to my number before we cross the border (while still in Canada) , will her calls come to my phone since I have the Canada-USA calling plan, while in the US and would it cost us anything extra. I think i got the answer I am looking for.

Thank you for the responses.

That won't work.  Please see the reply by Will13am about this.  Some carriers have an option to change the call forwarding number from the self serve account, but unfotunately, Public Mobile doesn't have that option.  Several years ago, some carriers would allow the changing of call forwarding settings by asking customer service, but to my knowledge, most will not longer do that.

@Deltapi , it is not possible to set up call forwarding while roaming.  Generally providers require connection to the home network when setting up call forwarding.  Once set, it remains in effect even when roaming.  @Sansan , your it might work response is incorrect.

It is possible that it might work, it's always a hit or miss.

However, there is Never any surprise charges from Public Mobile.  You will not be charged extra. The services just will not work. So you can go ahead and try it.
