Call connection

Both incoming and outgoing calls seem to take forever to connect.  People have hung up and I need to call them back which again, takes a while to connect with them.  It is like a long pause before hearing or speaking to the other person.

Thank you for responding.  I am VoLTE compatible as I checked from the link you sent. I think my issue has been resolved. Will know the next time I make a call to someone.  Incoming calls is now working correctly (not the long pause as before).  Thanks for your help!!

There have been issues with talk with the Public mobile network recently.  PM has sent warning texts to affected customers.  Public mobile has been changing the 3G network (switching 3G 850 MHz band to LTE).

If your phone is not VoLTE compatible with the PM network and the 850 MHz 3G band is not available in your area, your talk services may be affected. Here is some information about VoLTE compatible phones with PM:

what phone do you have?  

try clicking on the Reset Network Settings on your phone and test

and try testing your sim card on another phone to confirm if it is a device issue or network

if still have problem, you can engage PM support and have them to reprovision your account/sim:

1. Open ticket via Chatbot (need access to My Account): At https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/publicmobile/publicmobile.html
    Start by typing "Submit a ticket", then click "Contact Us", then "Other", then "Log In", finally click "Click here to submit a ticket ↗
2. If you have trouble with Chatbot or you don't have access to My Account: Private message CS Agent at:

**Monitor your Community inbox (envelope icon on the top right) after ticket submitted, CS Agent will reply to you there
