I am looking for a phone in public mobile to buy and pay monthly??

Your options are to buy an unlocked phone and go with Public Mobile, or to buy a subsidized phone (pay monthly contract/Tab/etc) with another carrier.

Public Mobile now sells a small selection of refurbed phones. If you buy a phone anywhere else then you must also buy a ($10) SIM card for Public Mobile. If you buy a used or refurbed phone then you must make sure it's unlocked (not carrier-locked) to use it on Public Mobile (test it with Public Mobile SIM card before buying, if you can). If you buy a phone online then you must make sure it's radio-compatible with Canadian/USA networks.

Unfortunately not possible with public mobile. They just starting selling used phones and you pay up front. If you like the Telus brand and network then try Koodo. They offer what you're looking for. You'd have to switch companies tho.
