How do i know if in at 75 percent of my monthly data usage. My first month only told me i wasnt 95 percent when i i only had 5 percent left. So my ? Is. Why the last minute. You cant tell md people get desperate enough to buy more data and waste their cash. Your sister company offers unlimited data at 75 dollars per month and i wont even mention Chatr

Are these actual texts from Public Mobile you are receiving or a message from your phone. As you phone can be set up to notify you when you reach a particular limit of data usage.
A phone data usage counter can look like this:
Remember Public Mobile is 30 day plans (not monthly), so it will fluctuate on the day of the month.
I have never used this myself, but there is an app you could use (If you are an android user) to track your data with PM, called Data Witness: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.iwik.datawitnesspm&hl=en_CA&gl=US

@computergeek541 it's been a long time "quirk" that I've at least been aware of since soon after I joined after a year ago - if you have any kind of domestic data add-on on your account, Public Mobile does not generate the warning texts when your base plans data reaches 75/95% etc, so you need to pay regular attention to selfserve to see if/when you cross into using data from an add-on...
@Taz1082020 if you had no data add-on's and your first text was the 95% one, and no 75% warning, indeed maybe there was a glitch... I still wouldn't rely on that and pay regular attention to the counters on the selfserve overview, or use counters on the phone to help track too...

That sounds to be a glitch. All cutsomers are supposed to receive a text message after using both percentages of your plan's data. Depending on your phone's software, you should be able to set your phone to notify you after a preset amount of usage. Keep in mind that most phones assume that your billing cycle starts on the same day each month, so make sure that the start date is correct.
