Hello everyone,
My autopay payment date was yesterday October 2, 2017. It seemed to have failed to pay for my public mobile, and now my account is suspended until I pay. This account has been with Public Mobile since January, so I know the autopay has worked since then.
I tried doing a direct payment however it failed to validate my credit card. Any ideas why the autopay may have failed? My credit card is still valid and funds are available.

@stonechucker probably larger customer base resulting in longer overnight processing.

I stayed up for my last renewal, I wasn't charged on my credit card until after 12:00 am EDT, and my account didn't say active (or at least not Expired or Suspended) until about 8:00 am EDT.
My renewals prior to this seemed to occur earlier than this last one. I think the timing has been delayed 2-3 hours.

@will13am Since the renewal processes at midnight, the actual renewal date changes.The account starts charging you somewhere around 9pm est and then if payment goes well, it renews near 6am est.
I look at the renewal process everytime hoping they will change something. In regards to this, they are getting really close , but i am not expecting huge improvement.

I suppose you are correct. This renewal thing is something that continues to be confusing to me. The process seems to span more than one day. I recall that early in the morning is when the account shows normal active status. I can't remeber if if the day after renewal or the day of. In any event, the account display is a mess during renewal time. It is best to not look, unless service actually does stop working.

@Luddite @will13am His/Her renewal was yesterday. So, if autopay was functional and nothing wrong with the payment method, the account should've renewed today morning. I know you both are trying to say the usual renewal process, but it doesn't apply in this case because the renewal was yesterday and not today. I am sure services are not functioning due to this.

@nathanerickim, how did you determine autopay failed? If you look into the account on the due date, you will see all sorts of anomalous indications that the account is suspended/inactive. It goes through these phases and by the morning, it will should show active status. Manual intervention can mess up the auto process. Anyway, this is why it has been suggested that if the service continues to work, ignore everything else.

Phone still working: ignore it; message will disappear by morning.
Phone not working: click this: message to moderators to send a private message to the moderator team with your phone number and an explanation. Expect a reply tomorrow.

Make sure your credit is not blocked or expired. If it is, that could explain why your autopay didn't go through. If your credit card is in good standing, there might be a system glitch causing the error. give it a try using incognito/private browsing mode.
Alternatively, you can purchase voucher from local stores. If you cannot get voucher, you can send a private message to the Moderator_Team and they will see what's wrong with the payment.
