Autopay discount/taxes

Hey all, I'm new to Public and my first autopay is approaching in a couple of days. I have a Visa debit card through RBC so I just move whatever funds I need into my account, I'm just wondering how the payment works when you get the autopay discount.

My plan is $15 and I get the $2 discount for autopay, so it says my balance owing is $13. Will I be charged $13 plus tax, or $13 plus the tax on $15 or will I be charged $15 plus tax and I'll just keep building up the $2 discounts until I have enough for a free month.

Thanks all.

That's what happened with me. I joined through a referral $15 plan and my account shows $1 for next month. Yahoooo!!

Hi @Hishighness420 ,

Did you use a referral code when you registered...it doesn't really sound like it but if so, then your payment would be $1 plus tax!

$15 (plan amount on renewal)

-$2 (1st month auto pay)

-$2 (2nd month auto pay)

-$10 (referral code)

$1 (plus taxes) = 2nd Month Payment

@Hishighness420

hi, you will be billed $13+tax.

your first bill will actually be charged for $11+tax($15-$2ap-$2ap)

your first auto-pay credit is added to your "available funds" from then on it will automatically be applied on your renewal date and will not be shown as credit in your "available funds"
