Also, I'd like to cut off the feature where my account automatically renews.
Thoughts on that?
Gracias!

You've been a community member since 2018 so you are probably on the old rewards program. If you turn off auto pay you won't earn your $2 reward but you can put a Visa credit gift card or similar credit gift card on your account that has a $0 balance so you still earn your $2 reward and you can pay by voucher.

Now that you know how to do it, may we ask why you would want to?
Not having auto pay enabled means you have to remember to load the necessary funds prior to every renewal every cycle to ensure you have continuation of service.

The advantage of AutoPay is you don't have to worry about the 30 days cycle payment. It is hard to keep track when your renewal date is.

If you are on $ rewards you lose $2 credit every month. If you are on points....go for it.
I don’t know the last time that auto-pay kicked in for me. If I need to increase my balance, I top up manually. I have one only $25 Vanilla Mastercard on all of my accounts. Apparently exhausted prepaid MasterCards work too.

To stop further payment, login to My Account and disable Pre-Authrorized payments from Payment page, click Manage payment method, you can disable it there:

Renewals only take place when there are sufficient fudns in the Public Mobile account. You can go into your Self Serve account to disable pre-authorized payments.

@pirateinuk , auto pay is a convenience feature. It is not mandatory to use it. So it is purely a personal choice.
