Just bought $30 worth of data and found out I have to download an app but it won’t let me download 

moved to Canada from Australia a month ago if that makes a difference

@Timothy501   I think once you've paid, and I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, customer support can help complete the activation.  If you want to try that route open a ticket at the chat icon bottom right of this page and if that doesn't work for you send them a private message using this link

To change your phone’s location to Canada, here’s a high-level guide:

For iPhone:
1. Go to your phone’s Settings and tap on your Apple ID (your name at the top).
2. Select "Media & Purchases" and view your account.
3. Choose "Country/Region" and then "Change Country or Region."
4. Pick Canada from the list, agree to the terms, and enter a valid Canadian address.

For Android:
1. Open the Google Play Store app and tap the profile icon at the top right.
2. Go to Settings, then "General," and tap "Account and device preferences."
3. Look for "Country and profiles" and select Canada.

Made the account online then once I paid for the service it said I have to download an app to finalise setup

@Timothy501   Do you mean you paid for a plan using a browser but could not activate it because you can't download the app?

@Timothy501 , how did you manage to create the account without the app?  Once the account is created, you can manage the account and use the service without the app.  I assume you cannot install the app on your phone because your google/app store account might not be properly geo-located.  See if you can change the location information.
