Still very new to PM
I added an Add-on of data to top me up to my next auto payment.
Is that Add-on now part of my renewing plan and included for auto payment or is it one time fee & service? Wasn't very clear in my account looking afterwards.
Can an Add-on it be either a one time thing or long-term..?

My request is exactly in line with the kinds of things you just listed. I do not see it as a frill...
No offense taken 😉

@pm-smayer97 while I can see the utility in your suggestion, right now that would be a horrendous idea. PM needs to focus on stabilizing what's already in place first before adding new features like this. Make sure activation, payment, and plan renewal are all rock-solid, and then add in some other long-requested things like ability to reacitvate a suspended account onto a new plan in one step (which I believe is being worked on finally), ability to stack US roaming data add-ons and/or schedule start dates for US roaming add-ons, simplify the add-on purchase to a single (intuitive) step instead of 2, etc. etc. Then start looking at "frills" like this. No offense.

PM should provide the option to auto-renew add-ons. This is NOT difficult.
I have a Telus prepaid plan too and they have the option to auto-renew any add-ons. All are time based but if the "inventory" is used up and auto-renew is selected, it auto-renews beforehand, all at the customer's discretion to turn on or off auto-renew on each add-on independently of any other settings. See sample screen capture (there are many more options):
FYI, you first click the add-on then you get the option to auto-renew presented. So this is available for every single add-on available, independently of each other.
So the same thing could be implemented in PM too. The only difference is that some of the add-ons for PM are not time based, so that would simply not be there for those, e.g. L.D. and data add-ons.
@Moderator_Team please pass this idea on to management for consideration.

@Eric-S, the addon will not auto renew. so you will use this addon until your plan renews then your regular data will kick in and any unused data from the addin will be carried over until the next time you need it. It doesnt expire it is there until you use it all up
