Add On Data

Hello,

I have existing non-expiring data.  If I purchase add on data from Public Mobile will it use it first or my existing non-expiring data?

A fair question?  My non-expiry data is getting low, if I knew it wasn’t going to be used first, it would be a nice backup since I won’t lose it.  However, if it is going to be used before any add-on, I’ll use it up first.

why would you do that if you still have data to use? 

I wouldn't suggest you to buy data addon if you still have other non-expiring addon.  you have no control over which addon to use first, and if the paid addon with 30 days expiry does not use first, you would be wasting your money.  

We only know this:

• the 10GB/cycle  for 2 years addon will be used before the regular data (assuming you have no paid addon with 30 days expiry).   
• For an accounts without that 10GB , regular data on your plan will be used before the paid add-on with 30 days expiry (assuming you have no other bonus addons)

 We do not know the answer if you have other addons in the mix.  And I would suggest you to drain your bonus data first before considering buy data addon.  And when buying data addon, only buy enough to be used from the date to the end of the next cycle and not to buy more data just because it is cheaper per Gb
