Hi what’s the activation fee for a new sim card

there is no activation fees

free to activate with eSIM

but for sim card, if you activate with physical sim , you can get it for $10 or $5:

• local Telus/Koodo/Mobile Klinik stores: https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/pick-up-SIM ($10 call ahead to confirm availability ) 
• Via your activation, can be shipped or pickup locally:  ( $10, but Delivery could take anywhere from 5 days to 3 weeks)

There's no dedicated activation fee. There are only fees for purchasing the SIM card and the plan itself. eSIMs are free but physical SIMs cost $5–10.
