Number Transfer from another province

AdTH

Hi,

I currently have a Freedom Mobile phone number that originated in Ontario. I now live in British Columbia and want to activate a new Public Mobile eSIM in BC while keeping my existing Freedom Mobile number.

Before I complete activation and payment, can you confirm whether I can successfully transfer (port) my Ontario Freedom Mobile number to a Public Mobile account activated in BC?

My Freedom account is active and I want to keep the same phone number.

Thank you.

@AdTH

remember...you'll have an Ont area code so fam and friends in Ont can call you without LD but folks in BC will be calling LD so they might incur LD charges by caling you unless they have Canada wide calling features.

HI @AdTH

Yes, with mobile service, you can have the number different from your physical location.

So, porting in an Ontario Freedom number to a BC Public Mobile account is allowed
