Activation failed, then going around in circles, Customer Support use

Hello

It was very easy to subscribe to a Public Mobile (PM) plan (and for them to take my money). But then one see the weakness of PM. My activation process failed and from then on I have been going in circles, hitting dead-ends and at the same time PM does not even let me access my account (so that I could cancel subscription if nothing is resolved in a timely manner). All it indicates is that I need to complete my activation by contacting Customer Support.

Trying to contact a Customer Support Agent was a nightmare. Using the PM App ended at a blank screen. Finally, on my computer I was able to at least submit a "Ticket". As with almost all customer support these days the message of "we are experiencing a high volume of calls" is given.

Several years ago I was with PM and was lucky with no issues so I never had to seek help. This time, I am not so lucky.

My questions are:

1) Has anyone used Customer Support (a real person)?

2) How long did it take to resolve the issue?

Did you also port over an existing phone number?

Glad to hear that your activation has worked flawlessly. As I mentioned previously, I was a PM customer several years ago and all went well at that time.

I did try and install the PM sim-card but it wouldn't connect to the PM network.

I have never used customer support, but the activation process was a breeze.

so, you added the sim card number already?

do you see the phone able to connect to PM network?  Try Reset All networks

if same, please submit ticket with CS agent.

I received a SIM card. I used the PM App (Android). I got to step 6 (of 6). It indicated to wait as it was activating and that this could take up to 2 minutes to complete. 15 minutes later it indicated that activation had failed and to contact Customer Support.

hi @NotWorkingSueMe 

are you using app to activate?  if not, you missed the part that need the app

if you were using app,did you try to activate esim?  check your phone's sim manager and see if the esim is alredy there, or check if you got any Welcome email from PM and the esim QR code is there
