I'm looking to move our accounts from our current providers and activate new SIMs for our (4) devices (S22s/S23s).
Do I need to install the PM app on each individual device first, and then activate from each specific device ?
Or can I activate the devices from a single phone ?

Yes I would agree but it would be easier to monitor each account separately on each of the app.

The above isn't correct. There is no requirement for the app to be installed on each phone. Physical SIM cards can be used. The activation simply needs to be completed using the Public Mobile app. When a pyhysical SIM card has been used, that activation can be completely from any device compatible with the Public Mobile app.

You are welcome. Remember when you activate the first SIM and go to the account. Use the Referral Code of that account to get a $10 credit on your next bill for the other 3 accounts. The first account will receive 1 point/month for each referral.
If you need a referral code for the first account. Just reach out to members here because it is against PM rules to post renewal codes.
BTW, once you accumulated 15 points. You can redeem for a $15 credit off the first account.

it is better to install the app on the different devices and activate the account on each phone
also, make sure you use different email address for each account, no single account for family plan. If you have 4 accounts to activate, you need 4 email addresses
and remember to use a friend code to save $10 for each account activation

You need to install the app on all 4 phones and use a different email address for each account when your active the SIM.
Please make note of each account of the email address and password and keep it in a safe place so you can login to the app or online in the future to monitor and control your account.
