Just activated SIM card for Public Mobile yesterday afternoon but to date Samsung phone does not show carrier as PM.only emergency calls available and incoming calls go to answering. Please advise how to activate phone.

Are you able to see public mobile network by using search network in your setting?

@barbmason, let's start the troubleshooting by looking into the account you just activated. Are you able to login to the account and confirm that it is active with the service features that you selected? If so and everything looks good in the account, is it possible to try out the SIM card in a different phone? If your phone is SIM locked to a different carrier brand as already suggested, then you would see a request to enter a SIM unlock code. If so, you will need to contact the source carrier for the phone to get the unlock code. This service is free of charge as mandated by the CRTC. If you did not see that, then the phone is likely not SIM locked. When you are able to complete troubleshooting to this point, please report back and the community can suggest additional troubleshooting based on feedback. BTW, please do not post personal information in the public forum.
