After over a week, my PM account has finally been activated- that is my old Rogers SIM card doesn't work any more and I can log in to self serve. However, whenever I try to make a call, I hear a message that "I don't have long distance activated and this call is not covered by my plan". These are local calls! As far as I can tell, sending and receiving text messages isn't working either.
I was confused when I heard that though because I did sign up for Canada wide calling! So I looked at my plan in self serve and I am attached to a different plan than the one I initially chose. I don't have Canada wide calling, but I have 12G data. I assume that I was automatically signed up for the promo everyone is talking about.
I don't want or need to pay for 12G of data I won't use. I want the services I signed up for, and i want the start date to reflect the day when my service became usable, which it hasn't yet!
