Accidentally Change Cell Phone Number

Today, February 12, 2023, I unintentionally and accidentally changed my cell phone number on My Account and cannot change the cell phone number back.  I receive text messages on the old cell phone number, but cannot receive phone calls on the old cell phone number.  I do receive phone calls on the new cell phone number.  I would like to retain my old phone number for both text and calls.  Can anyone help?

@Debbie_Switzer there is a slight chance you can get the number back, but it really depends.  If the number was ported into PM from another provider, it also depends if the number was returned back to the old provider yet 

 

please engage PM support and check, hope for the best 

1. Please open ticket via Chatbot (need access to My Account): At https://publicmobile.ca/chatbot.

Start by typing "Submit a ticket", then click "Contact Us", Then click "Other", then click "Click here to submit a ticket ↗" 

2. If you have trouble with Chatbot or you don't have access to My Account: Private message CS Agent at:

**Monitor your Community inbox (envelope icon on the top right) after the ticket is opened.  CS Agent will reply to you there

Ya just went that one step too far fiddling around didn't ya? 🙂

Click on the chatbot (simon) link below to chat with the bot to get to submit a ticket. Only support can help you. Be nice. Hopefuly this only just happened.
