811 is an Ontario Health Connect service. It is live. I try to dial it on my phone and the call is not put through.

Anybody know why not? Thanks

HI@Louise_Mignault

sorry for the mis-information from the reply above.

Yes, 811 should work on Mobile phone, just hat VoIP might not work

If you use “Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP)” or web-enabled telephone services like Canada VRS, Skype or Google Talk, 811 may not connect. Instead, call 1-888-709-2929 to reach the HealthLine.

Out of Province cell phones will not connect to 811. Please use a landline.

I tried and didn't work for me too 😞

maybe open a ticket with PM agent to confirm

@Louise_Mignault

Oh, in that case try dialing a number 1 first. See if that works for you.

@Louise_Mignault    What about trying 1-866-797-0007 if you can't dial the shortcode number?

No, on their site it says: "

@Louise_Mignault

I think that number only works if dialed from a landline only.

To call that place of business from your mobile phone, you'll have to call their regular phone number.

Something that looks like this xxx-xxxx
