When setting up new account i got message that I entered wrong MEID and number transfer wasn’t completed and someone would contact me. How do I fix the number so my phone works

Also, MEID is not used anymore. PM just used the wrong term.

you don't provide them MEID for porting. Instead, provide them the account number of the old carrier or IMEI number instead

Since this is a porting issue, I will private message you the Telus team porting number. Probably be faster than customer service agent.
