5g plan

Just switched my plan to 5g but phone is still running on 4g  or Lte

Could be you're in an area w/o 5G service. Once you are in range of 5G, it should automatically be there.

I have a pixel 9  it shows recommend to network as 5g but only lte shows on screen

I made the same mistake myself. it was on 3G for a month.but I went to the Mobile settings and change to 5G/LTE and it connects

@VB519 what phone do you have?

5G plan is about speed.  It gives you up to 200 Mbs speed.  You can get the speed even on the 4G LTE network

some areas don't have 5G available yet.

In settings, select 5G instead of 4G or LTE.
