5G support on S21 FE 5G

Hey all,

I just ported it from a different company to this company and my phone supports 5G and my phone is Samsung S21 FE 5G, but I'm not getting 5G network on my phone. Even if the settings is on 5G/4G/3G auto, I didn't get 5G, so please guide me what to do about it or should I reach up to someone else?

Hey,
Do you have the link for checking the supported list for 5G phones under PM?
@Chalupa_Batman or maybe @computergeek541

SIM is fine though! I guess PM does not have support for 5G for this phone yet!

Does it work if you try his SIM card in your phone? If he set up on eSIM, then that's not possible to try. I doubt waiting will do anything since this is a new activation.

I saw that his phone is selected for 5G (Auto). We were in Downtown Vancouver and the network for 5G seems to be okay here. I guess speed check can give some answers, or maybe wait for days to months for PM to add the 5G support.

You may want to observe your cell phone network connections for the next day or so around the Vancouver area. Can you manually select 5G network? Sometimes your phone will pick up the stronger signal around your area.

From other customers experience with the 5G network, it seems sometimes spotty coverage.

You may want to do a data speed check on your phone? 5G plans should have higher data speeds - up to 250 Mbps.

Did you subscribe to a 5G plan? If yes, have you tried rebooting your phone? Try your sim in your friend's phone if you can to test and see if you get 5G signal.

@Luckk2024 It depends if you're actually on a 5G coverage area. If LTE signal is better in your area, you will get LTE signal. Try checking when you are near the core city area.
