Done that . Still the same .

Well you sure didn't seem to give the place a chance. Just run away at the first sign of trouble. Lots of ideas and questions that went unanswered. Not suggested here yet but did you contact the support people?

If you're still here we'd all love to help. .

@Tob1onone   Can you try putting your SIM in another compatible phone and reboot and then back to your phone and reboot for calls going to voicemail issue.

Your incoming calls still do not work @Tob1onone  ?

Can you try your sim card into another phone to see if calls come in then?

Ironically, whoever wrote that for the website that the Google search engine is quoting from is neglecting to mention that the lowest frequency available here is actually an LTE feequency.

@Tob1onone 4G difference is for data speed.  It has no effect on voice.  Voice call is on 3G only but the data speed won't matter on voice anyway

More details would be helpful. Are you a new customer?  Did you recently port a number over?  Did incoming talk work before?

Public mobile uses 3G for talk, so 4G won't make a difference for talk with Public mobile.

@Tob1onone -

Quoted from Google:

"In general, low frequencies are most reliable and capable of penetrating obstructions like buildings, which is why 3G will often work in more places than 4G. Higher frequencies are more direct but are also more easily scattered by objects."

"Is 4G better than 3G for phone calls?
The primary advantage of 4G calling is that it provides better call quality. The 4G network has more capacity and faster speeds which means more data can be transferred per second, equating to a much higher quality conversation."

All calls are going to your voicemail @Tob1onone  ?
Is this a new sim card activation or an existing plan/account that this just happened all of a sudden?

  • Check to see if the DND (do no disturb setting) has not been accidentally enabled on your device.
  • Try manually select the 3G / WCDMA ONLY network in your Mobile Connections area in your settings (temporarily) to see if that helps.
