4G Speed

Switched to the $29 a month with 4G speed but still showing 3 G should I have got a new Sim card?

Yes but I didn't change anything in my settings what do I have to do I have an IPhone XR

@Gigsdo  You don't need a new sim card, I switched from a 3G plan to a 5G plan with the same sim card, no problem.  But your phone might be set to connect to 3G rather than 4G/LTE so you might want to check that in settings.  Another possibility is that your phone is not VoLTE capable/enabled in which case you would see 3G only when making phone calls.  Does it say 3G all the time?

No. Same SIM card. Have you tried to reboot your phone? Also, you can always reset your networks settings and then reboot your phone. See how that works. But the most important part, do a speed test to see what you get.
