Hi, I'm new to Public Mobile and before I decide if I wish to register for a plan, specifically your current $29 plan promotion, as follows: "Boxing week deals are here, Subscribe to a 5G 10GB Canada-US-Mexico plan with 250 long distance minutes for $29/month". I have 4 questions:
(1) How long do I have to decide, before this offer expires?
(2) What would be the total monthly cost to me, with taxes and any fees not mentioned?
(3) How long would this be my monthly cost, in other words, because it is a promo will my cost for the plan increase after an X length of time?
(4) Can I transport my current mobile # during my plan registration process? (I'm asking because it seems some customers had an issue with this, according to posts in 2018).

1) Timeframe is unclear from Public Mobile, it could be as a Christmas deal or an early Boxing Day. It’s hard to saw when the deal will expire.
2) Your bill would be $29.00 + tax for your province.
3) You will have this plan indefinitely. It will become you plan until your change it.
4) You can port out of your local service provider and port into Public Mobile keeping your phone number in the process.

(1) How long do I have to decide, before this offer expires? I WOULD SAY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. PUBLIC DEALS COME AND GO AND IF THEY DONT SPECIFY AN END DATE... IT COULD BE TOMORROW (NOT LIKELY, BUT PROBABLE)
(2) What would be the total monthly cost to me, with taxes and any fees not mentioned? A $29 PLAN IS $29 PER BILLING CYCLE (30 DAYS) + PROVINCIAL TAX - EX: $29 + 13% IN ONTARIO = $32.77
(3) How long would this be my monthly cost, in other words, because it is a promo will my cost for the plan increase after an X length of time? THE PLAN YOU SUBSCRIBE TO, IS YOUR PLAN PRICE UNTIL YOU CHANGE IT (UPGRADE OR LEAVE) IE: YOU GET THE "PROMO" PRICE FOR AS LONG AS YOU WANT IT
(4) Can I transport my current mobile # during my plan registration process? (I'm asking because it seems some customers had an issue with this, according to posts in 2018). YES, YOU CAN PORT IN TO PM WITH AN EXISTING NUMBER FORM ANOTHER PROVIDER. YOU CAN ALSO CHANGE YOUR NUMBER AT ANY GIVEN TIME ONLINE IF YOU CHOOSE TO.

1. Boxing days deals should not expired till boxing day, but we are just customers, so no one can say for sure
2. tax on top and no other charges
3. the price will stay. Of course Pm can change price and they rarely do. Most of us have the same price for over 5 years, some even 10+
4. you likely can transfer the number, but check here to confirm, it is a koodo link but it is the same Telus system
