Changed to the new 4G/12 GB plan almost 2 weeks ago.
On a brief call and noticed it said 3G. Should this concern me?

you sure you changed the Preferred network to 4G ?
If it shows 3G on the network, it is not problem with 3G speed plan or 4G speed as 3G speed plan can use LTE/4G network as well, it just will run slower on 4G network if you have a 3G speed plan
I suggest you to check it in different area. It could be a local network issue
Also, make sure when you are checking the signal, you are not on a call. Even with 4G speed plan, voice still use 3G and you will see this when you are on a voice call

@rossputin Nothing to worry about. Just change settings in your phone to choose the network automatically . Don't manually choose 3g or 4G.
Even with a 4G plan, calls still use the 3G network as before your switch of plan.
