I'm not sure about getting an SMS but you can verify 2FA by email.

If you are suspended you will not receive texts. Can you choose the email method?
If you are suspended for 90 days or more then your account, number and service will be closed. So No the 2FA will not work since you will not able to login to your account.
@smp99 You'll get the option to receive 2FA via email instead.
