I am having issues receiving texts from Banks to verify my accounts ie adding bank cards to apple wallet. I do receive texts from Public to authenticate but that's it. I have reset the phone (hard reset as well) to no avail. Any help is appreciated.
*I did have issues last night with porting over where I had to completely wipe my phone including the eSIM , and had to purchase a new one to get everything to work. Not sure if this had anything to do with what's happening now.

hi @Yoshi28 just in case it is a phone issue, try your sim in another phone and request the 2FA from Apple again.
And also check with Apple
And check your Usage history log, check if it records the inbound text from Apple

Can confirm ZERO issues receiving inbound calls. I have received 2FA texts from other sites. What's even more weird, if I go to my banks App and ADD CARD to apple wallet I receive the 2FA text. But as soon as I request a 2FA code from the Apple Wallet APP, I do not receive it. I need that code to actually allow to be added to my wallet.

hi @Yoshi28 you can receive inbound calls without trouble?? please confirm, it could be an issue with your number port

7 days later still having issues. Unable to verify when adding cards to Apple Wallet. I was able to add another card from a different bank as it used my email address as verification.

hi @Yoshi28 if it just joined PM, it takes around 3 days for all those 2FA text to come , this is in place for security reasons in case of sim fraud

@Yoshi28 Typically take up to a week for 2FA to come from other institutions after porting into any new carrier . If it’s been less then a week give it that time first before you should start to see them . Can take this time for your bank to relaxed you legitimately changed providers . It’s a built in security feature to prevent SIM card fraud
