I had this error this morning I fixed it by turning on Airplane mode and then waiting 30 seconds and turning it off

only recent thing, sounds like a call goes out, but then static noise - dead air? is the network down, seems that its only Public Mobile which is down.

Unable to dial out and have calls connect but can call within our family who have different plans. The number dials but does not ring.....

Still not working

Mehrana

I suddenly can't call anyone for no apparent reason and I need to call the non-emerge police for a follow up about last night. What am I paying public mobile for?!

EnaRey

Same issue with older non-5g device. Calls failing and nothing being received. Did all the reboot, reset, and APN. Something is up.

I'm in Ontario. I can't make outgoing calls. I've tried a couple of numbers. When I try to connect a call, there is silence for a long moment, and then "call failed."

Can’t make outgoing calls to non-public customers.
Can receive calls from none public customers

How to raise a ticket?

hjshhyy9
Great Neighbour / Super Voisin

Following the guidance of live Chat with Public Mobile, I've restarted my device and tried selecting the network manually, but I still cannot make outgoing calls.

jean1963
Great Neighbour / Super Voisin

ok just tested can get incoming but cannot make outgoing

@EnaRey

are you in Ontairo or Maritime?

please try Reset network settings after a device reboot.  Please try calling different numbers (please note there is a problem with voicemail in Ontario)

if issue persists, open a ticket with PM Customer support.

Please open ticket using Public Mobile Expert Messaging using your Community/EverSafe account.  Select Start a Chat to begin:

Called both the Alberta and Ontario numbers and same issue. Phone says "calling" with no dial tone and nothing happens

michyNB
Great Neighbour / Super Voisin

rebooted, issue persists

MarkSquires
Good Citizen / Bon Citoyen

I appreciate the feedback but as this issue seems to be in other provinces and more of a broader network issue, I'm not going to wipe my network settings. I've called multiple numbers, and I've completed numerous reboots/restarts

michyNB
Great Neighbour / Super Voisin

we get that on the first call, but if you try the same number again after that call drops/ends we get the 22P1 error. funnily we can call each other though, and we're both on public mobile, and we were able to call a friend on public mobile in Ontario too... but we hit this issue trying to call the MILs rogers home phone line.

@overdriver

if you have a physical sim and you have another phone around, please try the sim card on another phone.

Also, do you have another phone you can test calling yourself to see if you can receive calls?
